our intiative

Community Minds (CM) was originally founded in 2014 by Zizi Charida as a charity organisation. After 10 years leading CM, Zizi established a new entity to continue delivering the innovative programs that began under Community Minds.
The CM logo represents the power of people and communities, more specifically, their assets of the head (to educate and enrich), heart (to inspire and nurture progressive, inclusive and cohesive communities) and hands (to build and connect) which are so valuable in shaping the communities we want.
Today, CM operates as an initiative of Zahia Pty Ltd, with a mission to deliver programs and projects that inspire and invigorate community-mindedness, helping build more connected, inclusive, and resourceful communities around the world.
Over the years, we’ve developed a range of impactful programs and resources, including:
- Community Minded Kids (CMK) – CMK is our flagship program and was recognised in 2023 with a ZEST Award for Outstanding Project Building Stronger Inclusive Communities.
- Community Minded Leaders (CML) for young people aged 12-18
- Community Minded Families (CMF)
- Community Minded Businesses (CMB)
