The Discover and Do passbook is a tool designed to be used by each individual child throughout the CMK program.
Children learn best through hands-on experiences within their school and broader local community, fostering a sense of belonging, but also ownership, allowing them to see themselves as active participants.
The Community Minded Kids (CMK) passbook is designed for students aged 7 – 12 years old. This tool encourages them to record people, things, resources, stories or anything they have ‘discovered’in their community that is positive, valuable and/or enriching or educational. They are also inspired to ‘do’ positive or helpful things in their school, street or community.
